More and more objects around us collect data, but much of it is invisible, inaccessible, and thus useless to us. To explore the value of connected objects and sensors for research, we:
Built prototypes to measure electricity consumption, water consumption, and air pollution
Tested these prototypes in different locations and under real-life conditions
Developed dashboards to monitor the data visually, and draw preliminary conclusions
Applied data science techniques to aggregate and analyze the data
